Upcoming Edmonton Speakers
Human Resources is maybe one of those corporate functions that often doesn’t get the respect it deserves. In the hands of a true visionary like Bonnie DuPont, however, the ability to effectively transform systems and processes within organizations so that people can realize their full potential can galvanize an entire organization. For nearly 30 years, Bonnie has been redefining the Human Resources function as the fundamental driver of a high-performance culture. And like every great leader, her contributions range wide and deep, spanning multiple private, industry, academic and government sectors. These include Director of the Bank of Canada, serving on the University of Calgary’s Board of Governors, and chairing the Enbridge Undergraduate Mentorship Program at the Haskayne School of Business. Her achievements have been recognized extensively. In fact, she was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women so many times; she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007. How’s that for “high performance”? Women of Influence AwardsCongratulations to Catherine Vu, President, Pro-Active IT Management Inc. She was chosen by Edmonton as their local Woman of Influence. She will be honoured on November 10. View the other winners in their event cities here > read more > register for this Edmonton event > |
