Last quarter, we asked you to identify who has had the biggest influence on your career to-date and you responded with enthusiasm and thoughtfulness. Here's what you said:
Almost half (47%) of you credit your family (primarily your husband) as having the most influence on your careers
"My Parents have the most influence on me as they continue to show me the value of working hard for something that has personal and professional meaning. Success will come to those who are passionate in what they do."
While no one specifically identified a mentor as influential, bosses who challenge, stretch and support you clearly play an important role in your advancement, as do you, yourself.
"If it weren't for my previous boss taking the time to help me identify my skills and challenge and mentor me, I would never have progressed this far, this fast in my career. I am one of many who count him as a significant positive influence"
